1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the Shopify Store Inspector Chrome extension ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Shopify Store Inspector is a Chrome browser extension that detects the theme, third-party apps, product catalog, best sellers, and pricing strategy of any Shopify storefront. Features include but are not limited to:

  • Theme detection (name, version, author) and third-party app stack identification
  • Product catalog scraping with prices, variants, vendors, and inventory
  • Best Sellers ranked list with images and prices
  • Multi-store comparison and saved snapshots
  • Price history tracking and change detection
  • Shopify-import-ready CSV export

3. Service Tiers

The Service is offered in two tiers:

  • Free Tier: Theme and app detection, store metadata, payment methods, total product count, and average price.
  • Pro Tier: Full product catalog scraping with CSV export, Best Sellers ranked list, multi-store compare, price history tracking, and Newest Products discovery — available through Monthly ($19.99/month), Annual ($129/year), or Lifetime ($109 one-time) plans.

4. User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws
  • Respect the Terms of Service of any Shopify store you analyse
  • Not use the Service for scraping at a rate that disrupts a target store, copyright infringement, fraud, or any malicious activities
  • Not attempt to circumvent free-tier limits or technical restrictions
  • Accept full responsibility for any business decisions made using data surfaced by the Service

5. Data Usage and Privacy

The Service processes publicly available data from Shopify storefronts (products.json, collections.json, meta.json, public HTML) to compute analytics. All detection, parsing, and analysis runs locally inside your browser. We do not:

  • Require or store login credentials for any Shopify store or merchant account
  • Send the URLs of stores you analyse to our servers
  • Collect your browsing history or the content of pages outside the active tab
  • Collect personal information beyond what is necessary for Pro subscription management (email and Pro access token)
  • Share your data with third parties, except for Stripe (payment processing) and Cloudflare (hosting)

6. Premium Subscription and Payments

Premium subscriptions are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate payment information
  • Authorize recurring charges for monthly or annual plans until cancelled
  • The pricing terms displayed at the time of purchase

Premium access tokens are for personal use only and may not be shared or transferred to other users.

7. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for all premium plans. If you are not satisfied with the Service within 14 days of purchase, contact us at support@aikc.net for a full refund.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your premium subscription at any time. For monthly and annual subscriptions:

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • You retain premium access until the end of your paid period
  • No partial refunds are provided for unused time

Lifetime subscriptions do not require cancellation and provide perpetual access.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service
  • Compatibility with future versions of Chrome or the Shopify platform
  • That the data surfaced by the Service is complete, current, or fit for any specific business purpose
  • Any specific profit, return, or financial outcome from using detected signals

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data, funds, or business interruption
  • Actions taken by Shopify or any analysed store based on your use of the Service
  • Business losses resulting from decisions made using data surfaced by the Service

11. Modifications to Service and Terms

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue the Service at any time
  • Update these Terms of Service with reasonable notice
  • Change pricing for new subscriptions

Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for:

  • Violation of these Terms of Service
  • Abuse of the Service or other users
  • Any other reason at our sole discretion
